  • Two-story addition to existing historical museum celebrating the Dayton region’s unique innovations and entrepreneurial spirit.

  • Addition provides new grand entry for Carillon Historical Park, including parking, covered vehicular drop-off, spacious lobby and expanded gift shop.

  • Addition houses the original Deeds Barn, where Charles Kettering and his “Barn Gang” developed the first reliable ignition system for automobiles.

 

 

  • Addition includes atrium rotunda with clerestory lighting from cupola above. Rotunda houses a children’s carousel with Dayton-themed inventions in lieu of horses.

  • Entire building, both existing and addition, uses an energy-efficient heating and cooling system featuring water-source heat pumps and geothermal wells.

  • Design-build collaboration between Wilcon Corporation and Roll & Associates, Inc.
